Phuket Motorbike Rental Prices in 2026: Seasons, Models and Monthly Rates

First Lux Motorcycle Rental Phuket · 2026

The same Honda Click 125 that costs 350 baht a day on Patong beach road in February rents for 150 in September — same bike, same shop, sometimes the same helmet. Phuket rental pricing is a pure seasonality machine, and 2026 follows the pattern with a twist: high-season rates crept up about 10 percent, while low-season discounts got deeper as fleets grew.

Here is what the market actually charges this year, when the prices flip, and where the hidden costs hide.

2026 daily rates by model and season

High season runs from November to March, peaking between Christmas and Chinese New Year. Low season is May to October, with April as the shoulder. Rates below are the walking-in price at a mid-range shop; beachfront desks add 50–100 baht for the view.

When the price flips

The calendar matters less than the occupancy rate. Shops watch hotel bookings, not months: the first strong booking wave around 20 November triggers the high-season board, and the Songkran exodus in mid-April starts the discount season. Booking a monthly rental in late April locks April's shoulder price for the whole of May.

  • Weekly rentals discount 10–15 percent off the daily board automatically at most shops.
  • Monthly deals are negotiated, not posted: ask for the "monthly rate" and expect 40–55 percent off daily.
  • Christmas week and Chinese New Year sell out the PCX class first — reserve those, walk in for Clicks.
  • Returning customers get the best number in the shop; keep the owner's LINE from trip one.

The extras that quietly double the bill

The board price is the entry fee. Fuel policy is almost always "return as received" — an empty-tank pickup means a 150 baht fill immediately. Delivery to the airport area runs 300–500 baht each way. A second helmet: 50 baht a day at shops that bother to stock one. And the damage schedule on the contract prices each scratched panel at 1,500–3,000 baht, which is why the pickup photos matter more than the daily rate.

Deposit as a cost, not a footnote

Cash deposits of 3,000–5,000 baht for scooters and up to 10,000 for big bikes are dead money for the whole rental. On a month-long stay, a card pre-authorization — offered by the bigger Patong and Chalong operators in 2026 — frees that cash for the island itself.

Reading the 2026 market

Fleet sizes grew again after the strong 2025 season, which means low-season renters hold all the leverage: a polite "the shop across the road offered 180" is a working negotiation tool from June to October. In February it gets you a shrug. Time the trip, pick the class for the route plan, and the motorbike stays what it should be — the cheapest 100 baht-a-day upgrade to a Phuket holiday that exists.
